Oregon Opportunity Grant Application Deadline for 2009-10
Due to a combination of cuts in state General Fund and lottery revenues and an increase in applicant demand, the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC) has set August 15, 2009, as the priority deadline for 2009-10 Oregon Opportunity Grants. Students apply for the Opportunity Grant by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.FAFSA.ed.gov. To be considered for the grant, students must submit their initial 2009-10 FAFSA on or before the priority deadline. Students who submit initial FAFSAs after the deadline will be considered for a grant only if funds are available.
