Additional Funds for Oregon Opportunity Grant Restore Spring Term Reductions
The Legislative Assembly approved up to $9.7 million in additional funds for Opportunity Grants for the 2009-10 academic year. In response to guidance from the Joint Ways and Means Committee, OSAC will use $4.7 million of the funds to restore previously announced spring reductions of $120 for all full-time grant recipients and $60 for all half-time recipients. All financial aid offices have already been notified of this change, so there is no action students need to take.
